Erhu – MR. FU
Mr. Fu graduated from the famous Xinyang of Henan Teachers Training University in China, specializing in the Chinese language and literature and with a minor subject in music theory. For a long time, he served as an artistic director of the Xinyang Teacher Training University, Students Art Ensemble, Beijing Opera Ensemble performer of jinghu and violin, Textile Dancing Ensemble dulcimer performer cum orchestra conductor music director for life Veteran Art Ensemble, Shanghai Baihua Chinese stringed mainly playing the erhu. He played the second part of the erhu and also a music arranger. He is now a music director of River Chinese band. Mr. Fu has an outstanding musical talent and ability to teach in a different number of music areas, arranger of orchestration, rehearsal conductor, music training, opera accompaniment, fusion and high attainments of Chinese and Western music, he is also able to play the violin, dulcimer, accordion and other instruments.
Erhu – Hongmei Yu
Hongmei Yu, from the hometown of Erhu, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province,. Since her childhold, she started learning from national grade one erhu player Ronghua Li from Jiangsu Province. She had participated in many competitions and obtained the first best ten and top 10 distigushed awarded. In 2003 She obtained the national level of national instrumental music performance Grade ten and in 2014, she combined the erhu features and western classical pop music, and published a personal album “Erhu Fantasy”. The reason she like Erhu since childhood was because its sound charm and its rich expression of emotion. Erhu sound comes from its essential characteristics, simple, mellowand deep and is similar to Western instruments such as the violin can not be reflected. But the erhu basic sound only through technical means, according to the needs of music, after a variety of kneading technology, in order to make it plays the expression of emotion, reflecting the beauty of artistic connotation. She is constantly asking herself in this regard, with a view to efforts to inherit the erhu predecessors master of artistic achievement.
Erhu- Richard Ng
Richard Ng is a founder of River Chinese Band (http://riverchineseband.org.au) and is now a secretary and a Chinese Viola player in the Chinese music band Richard was also a Chinese Viola player in the former Singapore Chinese Orchestra during his full time ministry service from 1975 to 1976. He was a Chinese Violin band leader in Salvation Army, Waverley Corp and also a head music teachers during 2004 to 2012.
